Sicili Clan Competition #2

It is the season to gather round the fireplace with your clan, spend time with loved ones (in person but also virtually this year), reflect on the strange year we have just had and look forward to what the future has in store for us.

The festive season is a time for giving and Sicili Clan’s first festive competition was on the theme of solidarity. We asked our followers on Facebook and Instagram to identify what the Sicili Clan logo represents for a chance to win a beautiful picnic hamper to share with family and friends.

The hamper for 4 people contained all the utensils you need for an outdoor picnic as well as a great selection of ethical sweet treats for all the family to enjoy:

– 3 pots of jam made by the ESAT de Menton (a local organisation on the French Riviera that facilitates employment to disabled workers)

– Cookies, biscuits and chocolates made by the ESAT de Caen (an organisation in Normandy that facilitates employment to disabled workers)

– Nougats and pistachio biscuits from Sicily, as well as Italian chocolate-covered almonds as a nod to our Italian roots

Sicili Clan also committed to donating a selection of second-hand toys to Christmas collection of the local Emmaüs centre (a humanist organisation that tackles issues such as poverty and social exclusion) once 200 followers took part in the competition (though we have to admit that even if we didn’t reach 200 we fully intended on donating anyway 😊).

This competition was the opportunity for Sicili Clan to work with organisations that our close to our heart. If you want to find out more about the great work that these organisations do, please click on the links at the bottom of the article.

The draw took place on Monday 14th December after 232 people took part. The competition was won by @pascalinmarion and a car boot load of second-hand children’s toys was donated to the Emmaüs Christmas collection.

If you are interested in purchasing or gifting the delicious jams, cookies, biscuits and chocolates that were in the Sicili Clan hamper, you can find these sweet treats and so much more at

Did you answer the competition question correctly? The Sicili Clan logo of course represents the tree of life.
